On the first academic day, ProLab – the new creative laboratory at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje – was officially opened, realized with the support of ProCredit Bank. The space, already popular among students, consists of two functional units: a zone for teamwork and presentations, and a relaxation corner.

This setup allows students to freely experiment, develop ideas, and translate them into practical projects. The concept and design of the laboratory were developed by students from the Faculty of Architecture at UKIM, in collaboration with the Super Block (Smart Living) team, thereby giving ProLab an authentic student energy and a modern, youthful aesthetic.

The opening ceremony featured speeches by the Rector of UKIM, Prof. Dr. Biljana Angelova; the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Mijalche Santa; and Milan Damchevski, member of the Board of Directors of ProCredit Bank. They emphasized the importance of this project as a bridge between the academic community and the business sector.

ProLab is available to all students and represents a new standard in modern education – a space that encourages creativity, collaboration, and professional development.
