School for Journalists – Digitalization
What does digitalization mean in practice? How are customer habits changing, and how are institutions responding? And what is the role of journalists in all of this?
These questions were the focus of the latest meeting of the School for Journalists – an initiative that ProCredit Bank has been organizing for several years in partnership with journalists, creating a space for learning, critical thinking, and practical training for young people.
The topic of this session was “Digital Transformation: Responsibility for the Future of Business.” The event featured interactive panel discussions where participants explored, directly and without filters, how companies – especially banks – make decisions that affect the everyday lives of citizens. Representatives from ProCredit Bank spoke about how services are being digitized, how communication with customers is evolving, and addressed important issues such as data protection, transparency, and ethics.
The program is designed to engage journalists in topics that require critical thinking and an understanding of the bigger picture. That is why the School for Journalists remains an integral part of ProCredit’s initiatives – through which the bank continuously invests in education, media literacy, and social responsibility.
